39 Years - Help us celebrate 39 years!

Registration Opens Soon!

The Early Iron Festival is one of Alamosa, CO, as well as the surrounding area’s premier events. The festival brings visitors from Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Arizona, Utah and Kansas. The show, which started some 37 years ago, now draws well over 600 rodders and street car enthusiasts.

The Early Iron Festival is a 3 day event starting on Friday and ending on Sunday. It’s full of parties, music, vintage nitro, pinstriping, slow cruising, and of course, awesome hot rod displays!

The Vintage Nitro Display and Early Iron Panel Jam is a new part of this 38 year legacy of hot rod awesomeness in Southern Colorado. Pinstriping is a craft that the Early Iron Club appreciates and honors as an integral part of hot rodding and it’s history. Alamosa is a true “Hot Rod Town” with the City Council setting aside an actual day as”Early Iron Day” on the Saturday before Labor Day!

Event is open to 1979 and earlier vehicles. All pre-registered cars will be included for money drawings. Must be present to win.

Many show awards, money, engine giveaway, and transmission giveaway are presented at the Rodder’s Banquet after the show Saturday evening. Tickets to the banquet are available for purchase.

We are still limited on our banquet space so please register early to make sure you get tickets.
